The short version

No accounts, no sign-up, and nothing that identifies you personally. We count how the games are used, in a way that cannot be traced back to you.

What is saved in your browser

So your game carries on from one page to the next, the site saves a small record in your browser's local storage: your chosen region, your scores and streaks, today's Daily 5 answers, the game you are in the middle of, and your sound setting. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes it.

Anonymous usage statistics

We run our own simple, anonymous counter. When you use the site it records what happened (for example "Daily 5 started", "round answered", "game finished with score X"), which page type, your region choice, the country (worked out by our host from your connection) and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. It uses a random code that lives only in your open tab and disappears when you close it. We do not store your IP address, we do not set cookies for this, and we do not build a profile of you. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", nothing is recorded. We use these totals to see which games people enjoy and what to improve.

Hosting

This site and its counter run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical details of each request (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Photos and fonts

Photos and fonts load from this site, not from other companies' servers.

Sharing

The Share button builds a picture of your result on your own device and passes it to your device's share sheet or saves it. Nothing is sent to us. The picture and text never contain car prices.

Advertising and analytics from Google

With your permission (the Accept button on the notice), this site uses Google Analytics to measure visits. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology for this. If you choose Decline, none of it is loaded. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser. Manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Children

This is a general-audience game and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Your choices and contact

Clear this site's data in your browser settings at any time, or use Do Not Track. For any privacy question email hello@carquizitor.com.
